About TBBTrade
TBBTrade — sometimes shortened to “TBBT” — is an independent supply-chain equity research publication. We map which companies the market’s biggest names depend on, and we publish our stock picks in a live public record, wins and losses both.
01What TBBTrade is
The board shows the price. We show the chain. Behind every headline name sits a lattice of suppliers, single-source components, and quiet chokepoints — the companies the giants cannot ship without. TBBTrade’s research starts there, upstream, where dependency is structural and disclosure is thin.
The work is computed before it is written: supply-chain relationships and concentration scores are built from SEC filings and public disclosures, then the essays interpret what the structure means. Where a number has a formula, the formula is published. Where we don’t have the evidence, we say so instead of scoring it.
02The TBBTrade 10
Once a month we publish ten names — the TBBTrade 10 — and track them in public. The list is cryptographically sealed (SHA-256) before any entry price exists, entries fix at the next market open, and the record runs live from there: wins and losses both, never backfilled, never edited. A new cohort opens on the 1st of each month.
03How the research works
The Chokepoint Map charts each supply chain layer by layer, with concentration scores computed from filings — the full formula and its limits are documented in the methodology. Long-form investigations live in Insights, and per-company breakdowns in Research.

05Frequently asked questions
- What is TBBTrade?
- TBBTrade is an independent supply-chain equity research publication that maps which companies the market's biggest names depend on — and publishes its stock picks in a live public record, wins and losses both. The site has three surfaces: the Chokepoint Map, per-company research pages, and long-form Insights investigations.
- What is the TBBTrade 10?
- Ten stocks picked each month and tracked in public at tbbtrade.com/10. Each month's list is sealed (SHA-256) before any entry price exists, entries set at the next market open, and results are never backfilled or edited.
- Is this investment advice?
- No. TBBTrade is a research publication. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
- Does TBBTrade backfill or edit its record?
- Never. Corrections, when needed, are disclosed in the artifact itself with a dated note — the sealed list of names has never changed.
