Our take
Google's Willow chip (2024, 105 qubits, below-threshold error correction) is the strongest quantum advantage demonstration to date. Cloud access remains research-focused, not commercial. Quantum is optionality for Alphabet, not a revenue driver. Risk: advantage claims context-dependent; commercial path unclear.
